Business Manager

In 1984 I joined the Australian Army and served until 2003, during which time I gained invaluable skills and experience.

On leaving the Army, I became actively involved in my children’s schooling and extra-curricular activities through a variety of volunteering roles.  I was on the School’s Governing Council for ten years, eight of which were as Chair. I was also a sports trainer with a local football club for 13 years and have coached softball at club and state levels. It was through the volunteering that I became interested in working in a role that would in some way help children.   

I have worked in a variety of roles that were focused primarily on finance and generalist human and physical resources. In 2008 I was extremely fortunate to gain a finance role in an independent school in the Adelaide Hills and then become Business Manager in 2011.  

I look forward to supporting Dara School, its staff and the community, as it faces the challenges of being a young and growing school.
