Dara School seeks to employ teachers who are committed to implementing the pedagogy and best practice in Gifted Education. For prospective Dara School employees, it would be an advantage to have already undertaken formal qualifications in Gifted Education or to be willing to undertake postgraduate studies in this area.

8-9 Teacher

Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a dynamic teacher with flexible approaches to pedagogy, ready to embrace the School’s unique approach to gifted education. Our focus is on delivering the Australian Curriculum within an accommodating and collaborative culture.
We welcome applications from teachers across all learning areas who are creative, innovative, passionate and committed to student success.
Teaching Areas:
The successful applicant will have the ability to teach across a combination of the following areas: Year 8-9 Australian Curriculum subjects: English, HASS, Mathematics, Science, Technologies, Health and The Arts.
Highly Desirable:
Experience or the ability to work alongside students to integrate student interests and learning preferences to creating learning experiences.
Additional Information:
Middle school trained teachers and special authority teachers (3rd and 4th year pre-service teachers) are encouraged to apply, as their skill set may well be suited to this role.

We are seeking a dynamic teacher with flexible approaches to pedagogy, ready to embrace the School’s unique approach to gifted education. Our focus for this role is on delivering SACE framework subjects within an accommodating and collaborative culture.
We welcome applications from teachers across all learning areas who are creative, innovative, passionate, and committed to student success.
Teaching Areas:
The successful applicant will have the ability to teach across a combination of the following areas: Year 10, Stage 1 and 2 Mathematics and Sciences.
Highly Desirable:
Experience or the ability to also teach SACE framework subjects such as: Psychology, Legal Studies, Integrated Learning, Community Connections, Exploring Identities & Futures, Activating Identities & Futures, Politics, or a combination of the above.
